Gary has successfully collected millions of dollars for his clients.
In 1992, Gary received his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. In 1995, he received his juris doctor from the Loyola University School of Law in Chicago, Illinois.

Gary believes that the purpose of our judicial system is to give every individual the right to seek justice when they or their loved ones are injured or harmed as a result of the negligence of others. Due to the complexities of the modern judicial system a skilled and experienced professional is necessary to obtain full justice and maximum compensation for injuries. The insurance industry has worked to put up as many barriers as possible to deny ordinary citizens full compensation. Gary has dedicated himself to fighting for justice and full compensation for people who have been harmed. His proven track record of success on behalf of his clients exemplifies the skill, dedication and experience necessary to prevail in today’s court system.
For several years prior to fighting for the rights of individuals Gary worked with a defense firm representing the interests of a broad range of clients in the areas of automobile, premises liability, construction, toxic tort, insurance coverage and medical malpractice actions in both the Circuit and Appellate courts of Illinois. While working on the defense side Gary learned all the ins and outs of the tactics used by the insurance industry to limit the recoveries of ordinary citizens. He now uses this knowledge and experience to seek full justice and maximum compensation for his clients.

Abels & Annes, P.C. is a law firm that only handles personal injury cases and that only represents the plaintiffs, or injured people, in those cases. We do not handle any other types of claims and we never represent insurance companies.
The law partners at the firm are David Abels and Gary Annes. Both of them have concentrated on handling personal injury cases since 1997. Dave and Gary teamed up to form Abels & Annes, P. C. in 2008. For a newer law firm they have had tremendous success, working on several high profile cases. Claims that they have worked on or are currently working on have been covered by multiple media outlets such as NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox and WGN News, the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun-Times. They have also been mentioned as far away as the Wall Street Journal, the Miami Herald and the Huffington Post.
What makes Abels & Annes, P.C. different than other personal injury firms? For starters, we are a service oriented law firm. When you call the office, you're going to get a return phone call. You're going to know the attorneys working on your case, not just the legal secretaries or assistants. Dave and Gary try hard to make your experience with Abels & Annes, P.C. very personable. We get to know our clients.
We bend over backwards to make our clients happy. Most of our new business comes from past clients that we have made very, very happy with strong results and good service and we pride ourselves on maintaining relationships with our clients, both past and present.
We work on a contingency fee basis (no fee unless you win). If there is no financial recovery on your case for any reason, like if there is no insurance to cover the loss, you would not owe us anything for time and our services would be free. So when you sign up with Abels & Annes, P.C., the risk is on us, not you. That means that when we sign up your case, we believe in you and we are ready to fight for you.
Further, we advance all costs associated with the prosecution of your case. So, unlike some law offices, you're never going to receive a phone call from us asking for money to pay for something for your case.
We offer free consultations to those who have been injured in accidents or on the job. If you or your loved one are too injured to travel, we offer free in-home consultations and free in-hospital consultations. We also give free consultations over the phone. Our lawyers make themselves available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to evaluate your potential personal injury claim.
The legal team at Abels & Annes, P.C. believes in fighting for the rights of those who have been injured and those are the only clients we represent. We never represent insurance companies so you know that we will always have our clients' best interests in mind when we work on a case. -
