New Service Launches That Helps Clients Hire Attorneys

Chicago, IL—A new service is available that streamlines the process for hiring an attorney, while helping attorneys develop new clients, all via an easy to use website, www.LegalServicesLink.com.

Legal Services Link™, a member of the 1871 incubator, is a tech startup that simplifies the inefficient process of researching, communicating with, and hiring an attorney, as well as the time-consuming and costly process of developing new clients for law practices.

Businesses and individuals (“clients”) with legal needs can register for free and post a brief summary of their legal needs. Legal Services Link then distributes that summary to all attorneys on the site that do that type of work (the site covers over 160 areas of practice) and practice in the state identified. Clients receive applications directly from interested attorneys, which they can review and ‘Accept’ or ‘Reject’. This simple and transparent process empowers clients to find the best attorney for them in a just a few minutes of their time.

For attorneys, Legal Services Link is free to register. Once registered, attorneys receive real-time email notifications of new client opportunities based on their areas of practice and location. If interested in a legal matter, attorneys can upgrade to a Premium Account for a $250 annual fee, and submit an unlimited number of applications directly to prospective clients. After clients review applications, the attorney will be notified if their application has been accepted or rejected. If a potential client accepts an attorney application, the client and attorney then finalize the engagement off-line.

For individuals and businesses with legal needs, finding the perfect attorney is currently a time-consuming and ineffective process, and the client development process for attorneys is no better,” states Matt Horn, Lawyer and Legal Services Link co-founder. “Legal Services Link changes that, creating a simple, user-friendly, and cost-efficient system where attorneys and clients connect directly—at the click of a button.”

While there are several websites out there that provide attorney directories and/or offer attorney referrals, these sites are expensive for attorneys and do not allow clients and attorneys to connect with one another directly and seamlessly exchange information.
