How do I move an LLC to another state?

In 2014, I formed a single member LLC (Company A) in Louisiana. I then moved to Michigan in 2016, while still conducting business in Louisiana. My CPA advised me to register my LLC (Company A) in Michigan. I registered it as a domestic company as well. My CPA then advised me to register my LLC (Company A) as an S Corp in 2017. I am ready to close out Louisiana. Two questions: Was I supposed to register my business as a foreign company in either state? Now what do I do? Dissolve Louisiana? Where do I go from here?
