Biography
Nadine Deeb is the Founding Attorney of Accord & Shield and is licensed to practice law in California, Arizona, and Texas. She represents startups, technology companies, growing businesses, and established enterprises in matters involving business contracts, corporate law, intellectual property, privacy, employment law, and strategic risk management.
Before entering private practice, Nadine spent five years serving as in-house counsel and leading the legal department of a technology company. She worked directly with company leadership on commercial agreements, employment matters, intellectual property, privacy and data practices, regulatory compliance, corporate transactions, and day-to-day business decisions. This experience taught her what businesses need from outside counsel: clear advice, responsive service, practical risk analysis, and legal solutions that support growth.

Nadine’s privacy practice includes preparing and reviewing privacy policies, terms of service, data-use provisions, and related documents governing how businesses collect, use, protect, and share personal information. She helps clients understand their privacy obligations and develop policies that accurately reflect their technology, business practices, and relationships with customers and vendors.
For employers, Nadine advises on workplace policies, worker classification, hiring and termination decisions, employee relations, employment agreements, and compliance with federal and state employment laws. Her experience includes developing a comprehensive employee handbook designed to address employment requirements across all 50 states, together with state-specific policies and addenda.
Her broader corporate practice includes business formation, corporate governance, restructuring, domestic and international business matters, and mergers and acquisitions. Because her experience spans multiple areas of business law, she can identify how a decision involving a contract, employee, intellectual property right, privacy practice, or corporate structure may affect other parts of the company.
Nadine understands that businesses cannot eliminate every risk and that growth often requires carefully considered decisions. Rather than simply identifying potential problems, she helps clients evaluate their options, understand the practical consequences, and select a path that protects the business while allowing it to move forward.
