Biography
Mr. Calderon is originally from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and grew up in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated with a B.A. in Public Administration in 2011 from Miami (OH) University. Mr. Calderon was also as member and captain of the Miami Redhawks football team. After receiving his J.D. in 2015 from Michigan State University College of Law, Mr. Calderon worked as a felony prosecutor where he tried numerous cases for the Brazos County District Attorney’s Office. As a prosecutor, he was in charge of handling a large criminal caseload and representing the State of Texas in more than a dozen felony jury trials.
In private practice, Mr. Calderon has won numerous cases for his clients in both state and federal forums. His successes vary from successfully representing individuals in removal proceedings against the Department of Homeland Security, to representing large corporations in complex civil litigation. His clients have been acquitted of felony charges, had their cases dismissed, received residency status from USCIS, or obtained monetary settlements outside of court.
