Biography
Degree in accounting & finance; world-wide auditor for PepsiCo, Inc,; subsequently engaged in real estate transactions, including the purchase and development of 1000 acres. A lawsuit to stop our project led me to study law and join the bar in 1991. I am admitted to practice in New York State, the Federal courts in NY's Southern District and the US Court of Appeals for the 2d Circuit, where I successfully argued a difficult case of first impression six months ago.
I combine down to earth common sense with a good understanding of environmental law, construction law and land use law. I talk to my clients when they call me and, if I can shoot from the hip, don't charge for our discussions. I care deeply about justice and fairness and frankly assess the likelihood of success of litigation so my clients can make up their own mind on what path to take.
