    Debt Collection Defense:
    I provide affordable representation to consumers and small business owners who have been sued by creditors and debt buyers. Many cases are dismissed, and many others are settled for a small fraction of the original demand.

    Default Judgments:
    It is commonplace in debt collection litigation for consumer defendants to be unaware of a lawsuit or judgment until the creditor takes steps to collect the judgment. That is often the result of faulty service of process. I handle motions to set aside default judgments, so that my clients' rights are protected.

    Consumer Protection Litigation:
    I represent consumers in Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) actions, to achieve justice against careless and unethical debt collectors and debt buyers. I also represent consumers for claims under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) and the Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA).

    Consumer Bankruptcy:
    I handle consumer bankruptcy cases in the Northern District and Eastern District of California. I offer discounted fees to seniors (age 65 and over) and clients with disabilities. I enjoy helping my clients become debt-free.
