Biography

Harriet Gerber, Founder/Owner of New York Divorce Mediation , is an attorney at law and registered nurse. She has been trained to work with people in conflict. Before attending Brooklyn Law School, Ms. Gerber specialized in counseling patients with emotional problems. Following law school, she received basic and advanced mediation training at the Center for Divorce and Family Mediation in New York City. Ms. Gerber is a member of the New York State Bar Association, a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation, the Family and Divorce Mediation Council of Greater New York and the Nassau County Family Court Mediator Panel.
