Biography
With more than 10 years practicing law and another 10+ years' business experience, Mr. Mintz has a unique ability to identify, analyze, and craft solutions to the legal issues that businesses face. Prior to adding his high-tech practice to Dalsin Law, LLP, Mr. Mintz worked at Cisco Systems, Inc, first as in-house counsel, and later from within a business unit managing licensing, OEM, and other intellectual property transactions with strategic partners. Mr. Mintz joined Cisco via acquisition of Latitude Communications, Inc, where he was the first attorney hired and was the sole in-house legal support. Prior to Latitude, Mr. Mintz served as Senior Corporate Counsel at Commerce One, Inc, a high-tech business-to-business technology provider, where he focused on leading complex licensing transactions, and was Assistant Vice President at privately-held ERIN Engineering.
Mr. Mintz has vast experience serving high tech companies in high tech transactional matters, including complex software licensing, OEMs, hardware and software sales support, SaaS offerings, services agreements, business development/strategic alliances, and other intellectual property transactions.
