Biography

Filomena is the Co-Founding Partner of LTF and serves as Head of the Firm’s Private Client Practice. She counsels domestic and multi-national companies of all sizes, including Fortune 500 companies, in their attainment of long and short-term immigration status on behalf of specialized personnel, professional workers, managers and executives. She also advises corporate clients with respect to government enforcement actions and the development of customized immigration compliance programs. She is particularly experienced in the preparation of PERM labor certification applications before the U.S. Department of Labor.

Over the course of her career, Filomena has also worked extensively with individuals. Her private client practice includes U.S. citizenship and naturalization matters, family-based immigration matters such as immigrating through a U.S. citizen spouse or fiancé(e), petitions by foreign nationals with extraordinary ability, and petitions by foreign entrepreneurs seeking to form a business in the United States.

Filomena is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Italy America Chamber of Commerce and the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce where her practice is based. She has also served on the advisory boards of several non-profit organizations dedicated to assisting indigent immigrants. She speaks regularly on various immigration law topics.
