Biography

I work at McCray Law Office, helping clients to get their property insurance claims paid. We represent clients at every stage of the claims process, from helping them prepare for Examinations Under Oath through trial in cases that reach that point. We represent most of our clients on a contingent basis and work diligently to protect their rights under their policies.   2015 - 2017

  Charlotte McCray graduated summa cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law, which she attended on a full tuition King/Faculty Scholarship. While there, she served as Animal Notes Editor of the Journal of Animal and Natural Resource Law and as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Business and Security Law. She also served as Treasurer of the MSU Law Chapter of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund and as a teaching assistant in first year Property (a position offered to the top two students in each class). After her first year of law school, Charlotte externed at the Ingham County Probate Court where she reviewed guardianships and conservatorships and acted as a guardian ad litem. She was hired as a Temporary Deputy Probate Register/Mail Clerk at the end of her externship.
