Biography

An accomplished attorney in Cincinnati, Ohio, Bethany Palmer Recht draws upon nearly 15 years of experience in her position as a partner with Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL. In her work with the firm, she represents trustees of settlement trusts and qualified settlement funds as well as claims administrators, lien resolution administrators, and other parties involved in mass tort cases. Bethany Recht also serves as the chair of the firm's diversity committee.

Prior to joining Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL, Bethany Palmer Recht spent several years as a litigation and arbitration attorney with DLA Piper LLP in Los Angeles. There, she represented private equity funds, developers, and other parties in disputes related to real property, joint ventures, fraud, and breach of contract. Ms. Recht began her career as a summer associate and attorney in the complex commercial litigation section of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in Boston.

Bethany Recht holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Michigan and a law degree from Northwestern University School of Law, where she served as an alumni interviewer and the travel chair for International Team Project Chile. She is admitted to practice in Ohio, California, and Massachusetts.

I also represents other entities that operate in the mass tort space including third party neutrals, claims administrators, and lien resolution administrators.
