Biography
Anna Wendorf is an associate attorney with Doran Justice. She focuses her practice on family law, including legal decision-making and parenting time disputes, child support, and property division. Anna is focused on helping clients find solutions that best fit their unique circumstances, whether that be through settlement negotiations or trial advocacy.
Anna is from a small town in southwest Michigan. She excelled throughout her academic career, attending the University of Michigan for her undergraduate degree, where she studied political science and history. During her final semester of college Anna moved from Michigan to Washington D.C. to work for the Department of Justice Consumer Protection Branch. While at the Department of Justice, Anna gained experience working on large scale medical fraud cases, which solidified her decision to attend law school.
After graduating from the University of Michigan, Anna moved to Phoenix to begin her legal studies at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. During her time at ASU Anna continued to excel academically. In addition to her classes, she was a member of the Women Law Students Association, the Moot Court Board, and continued to work and intern throughout her time in school. Prior to starting at Doran Justice, Anna interned for a successful family law appellate firm where she gained experience drafting and researching complex appellate issues in all areas of family law. After that, she joined the Doran Justice Family Law team as a law clerk for her last year of law school.
After graduating and taking the bar exam, Anna accepted an offer to join Doran Justice as an associate attorney to add to the growth of the family law practice. She enjoys working with the other members of the family law team to find ideal solutions for clients’ family related problems. Anna has experience working on a wide range of family law cases, including high conflict divorce, child custody, paternity establishment, modification, child support, and enforcement.
In her free time, Anna enjoys spending time outdoors camping, hiking, swimming, and golfing. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends and playing with her dog, Mona.
Anna focuses heavily on finding solutions that work best for her clients, while being understanding of the immense stress and emotion that family law matters bring. Anna is passionate about advocating for her client’s needs through every step of the family court process.
